The EMG-AT93U and EMG-AT125U are the same natural sounding saddle pickups featured in the AS93U and AS125U Systems. Available in two widths, 3/32 and 1/8 inch, each patented EMG pickup uses piezo film layered in a bimorph design. This design has many advantages over the old design using piezo crystals. Unlike the crystals, the film has no resonance in the audible region so it does not have that annoying harshness inherent in the crystal pickups. Secondly, because the film runs the length of the pickup, the number of strings and string spacing becomes a non-factor. Each AT93U and AT125U include the EMG UltraJak.
