History Of Music Office
Fonded in 1985 by Alain Blaes, Music Office had, at this time, the vocation to give to musicians a service that previously disappeared in Tournai (Belgium): redefine a place where musical quality finds its own expression.
First established downtown, Music Office then transferred its activities in customized buildings, able to provide adapted spaces and a private parking.
As they meet with success, another shop was born in Tournai. Held by Dominique Wyckhuys, his specialized wind instruments shop gave a diversity of quality among the musical offer in this area.
Complementary in their respective sectors, the two fellow-members who estimated and respected eachother naturally decided to join their forces and create Music Office SA.
The birth of the network.
A reflexion period about the expansion of the Music Office’s services started. The possibility of increasing our Tournai store in order to extend the geographical area of our products and services promotion was brung up.
Conscious that our trade required a proximity service and a convivial aspect, we chose to multiply of our presence over the country. It was wise to consider that, for ten years, manufacturers and distributors have been structuring and organizing their logistics on a European scale. Adapting to this reality was a condition to get on their level and stay worthy of their interest. The new millenium approaching, the adventure of the Music Office network was born.
Rise was dazzling: 5 years after, 10 Music Office shops are now part of Belgian musical landscape. Two stores also opened in France.

Resolutely turned towards the future, we decide in 2006 to be present on Internet.
We are convinced that this new strategic choice, put in synergy with our network, will reinforce the satisfaction of our existing customers even more.
But our presence on Internet also enables us to provide our tested services to more distant musicians
